The following report has been made on the case study of Aus Ed. Inc. The organization wants to implement new technology for improving their operations and forming better plans for their organizations. The strategic management would be helpful for forming and planning information management system.
The organization of Aus Ed. Inc deals with the provision for online education to students in IT and Business. They help the students with various educational programs and most of the students of the organization are from outskirts of Australia, Southern pacific Island and Papua New Guinea. The organization has no sole intention for making profits. They help the student for getting scholarships from the Australian or New Zealand government. The competitive environment of the organization is based on the education programs and online education programs (Kuo et al. 2013). The organization has formed competitive advantage by focusing on the development of students and not focusing on the profitability of the organization. However the organization has to abide by the standards of the educations by Tertiary Education Quality and the act of Standards Agency.
The special study centres of Aus Ed. Inc have offered many facilities to the students such as work stations, support staffs, and computer development. The printing, scanning, and photocopying facilities would help the students to support the online educational programmes. The wireless networking has been installed in the organization for supporting the connection between the student’s laptops and the system of Aus Ed. Inc via Internet. MYOB is used for managing the accounting activities, Sugar CRM for managing the customer’s information and Microsoft exchange server version of 2007 for communicating by emails.
The organization has planned for increment of their net income and minimizing the cost of their support activities. The organization has formed three technological developments suggestion for their organization. They are Off-line Moodle, Photo Exam, and Accounting system replacement.

It would help the team members for getting idea of what they have to do in the project (Atkin 2012). However, the process of making plans and preparing for the change would take much time and resources of the organization.
Quality Assurance: The process of implementing the new changes in the technological development of Aus Ed. Inc would be ensured by the help of quality assurance. The organization would have to make its stakeholders understand that the quality of their operations in terms of cost, output, or labour would not decay or be disturbed (Geoghegan et al. 2014). The quality assurance could be done by testing, rechecking and evaluation of the technology.
Scope Evaluation: The changes of the information system of Aus Ed. Inc could be easily conveyed and implied if the people are aware of the benefits and scopes of the changes (Sherman and Ford 2014). The evaluation of scope of the new information technology would help in knowing about the future prospects of the changed technology. If the benefits and scope of the changes are conveyed to the stakeholders, they would adapt the necessary changes for their future betterment and scope.
Effective Communication: The effective communication would help in forming the best methods for channelizing the ideas and terms of the changes to the affected parties (Streich and Brennholt 2015). If proper communication methodology is followed it would be easy to convince others about the reasons for implying the changes.

The report has provided an ample overview on the topic of emerging technology and their correct implications on a business organization. The case study selected was for Aus Ed. Inc and they needed implications of new technology in their business organizations. The planning, processing and preparing for adjusting the alternatives and changes in their operations would consume much of the time and resources. However, if the long process is not applied and just a quick fix is done for the said changes, it is sure that quick fix would harm the organization in long run more than it had helped.
