They are experts in health care and residential health care. Under the health care services, they have special doctors who understand and address the various health concerns faced by the people. They ensure that they are available at all point of time and at all possible locations for people who next their help and support. Under the residential care, they look for ways by which they can improve the environment of homes so that the residents can be comfortable and this speed up the curing process.
A same style of communication cannot be adopted for interacting with all the employees in the organization. An appropriate communication style with managers and other senior colleagues was formal. Mostly, interaction with them, use to take place in meeting rooms or over conference calls. This kind of communication was to the point and no other unwanted or additional information would be shared. The departmental heads, vice-presidents or other senior employees preferred email communication for formal communication, over other types of formal communication. Informal communication was also used in the organization. This communication use to take place between team members (Fells 2015). Few of the managers also adopted informal communication style, over the formal communication style as they believed that free flow of information can be improved with this kind of communication. Grapevine was another form of extensively used communication but the information that is received through grapevine cannot be trusted and it cannot be used in any kind of decision making. The managers and the seniors in the organization continuously strive for ways by which the grapevine communication can be stopped in the organization as they believe that most of the information passed through grapevine creates restlessness in the organizational environment (Gasper 2013).
It is very important for every employee in the organization to manage their time effectively so that they can be productive in the organization. First and foremost, an employee should have a to-do list in their desk. This will help the employee to set his priority right. The employee can also be rest assured that he has completed all the important tasks that were planned for that particular day. Standup meeting is also one of the common strategies used by manager to ensure that their team uses the available time effectively. Before the start of the day, the manager will set tasks for all the team members ((Gangopadhyaya 2013). This helps the employees to focus on the tasks assigned rather than concentrating on random tasks. Many employees believe that they should stretch at once and complete all the tasks that have been assigned to them, but that is not the right way. An individual should 10 minutes break after every 50 minutes. This will help the employee to feel fresh and they can be more productive. All the individuals should continuously look for ways by which they can reduce the stress at workplace. It has been scientifically proven that cluttered workplace creates stress and this ultimately reduces the speed of decision making. It is advisable to keep the workstation clean as a part of time management (Greer 2013).
Every person in the team has to take up some or other team role so that they can be productive and at the same time, the team will also be able to achieve the goal that has been set. In our team, we had a coordinator, completer finisher and plant. The plant in the team was full of energy and this person had plenty of new ideas within him. This helped the team to be creative and different. The coordinator use to ensure that each of the team members is working smoothly. The communication process was smoothened with the help of coordinator (Fells 2013). Finally, we had a completer finisher. This person use to look for continuous ways for improvement and this help us to be perfect with the work that is being delivered. While working in a team, it is important for different people to possess different roles so that the end-results can be achieved. If all the team members are playing the same role then achieving the end result would be difficult. It is very important that all the team members shares the same vision so that they can work together (Halevy 2015).
Team dynamics cannot be ignored at place. Different people with different thought process, mindset and attitude come together to deliver the ultimate results. The new member in the group should try to understand the behavior of each of his team member so that all can gel with each other. It is very important to ensure that a balance between task and relationship is maintained in the team. If the employees in the team are extremely friendly then there are chances that the focus would be on relationship and not task. This would not be a good sign and hence, maintaining appropriate balance is very important (Chambers 2014). It is very important for the team to have a leader who can guide the team in the right direction. This leader can also put in efforts to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each of the team member. Based on the strength and weakness of the team member, work would be assigned to each one of them. Before starting with the every new assignment, all the team members should sit together and discuss on the goals that they need achieve and also the benefits that each one would reap. This will ensure that all the team members are working towards the common goal which can benefit the organization (Heger 2015).
Managing the team and ensuring productivity from each one of them is manager’s responsibility. To ensure that the team is productive the manager should share the bigger picture with the team. In most of the cases, the team members will not be aware of the end results that are derived from the efforts that each one of the team member puts in. If the team members are aware of the end results then they would be productive and at the same time, they will also feel proud about their contribution. Each of the team members in the organization should be aware of their roles and responsibilities. This will give them a clear idea on the areas wherein they need to concentrate and show result. The manager should also ensure that the team member is not bored with the same set of responsibility that they have been handling for a long period of time. All the goals that have been set forth for the team members should be measureable. This will help each of the team members to understand the contribution towards the goal (Hong 2013).

The management and staffs in the restaurant very well understand the seriousness of the health and safety act. They are continuously looking for ways to improve the hygiene and safety of the restaurant. At this point of time, certain things have been overseen. The management and staffs have decided to meet and decide on the areas of concern so that they look for solutions accordingly. All the possible solutions will be taken into consideration by the committee so that immediate improvements can be implemented (Lai 2013).
Two major problems have been identified after the meeting and they are as follows: -
The committee has decided to come up with various possible solutions so that the best possible solution can be implemented. This implementation will ensure that the restaurant doesn’t have to give on its business and at the same time, the customers will also have a satisfaction that they are eating the best possible food when they are visiting this particular restaurant (Nelson 2015).
Various strategies were used by the committee staff to ensure that they come out with the best possible solution. Brainstorming strategy was used so that different people in the committee can share their suggestions and opinion on the problem. This helped to committee to come up various possible solutions that will help the restaurant to serve again as safe and healthy, as they were in the past. Due to this session, each of the committee members got to know about the seriousness of the issue (Schneider 2013).
Plenty of solutions were suggested by the committee members. Not all the suggestions are worth mentioning but few of the suggestions are such that it will help the restaurant to regain the reputation that they have lost in the past few days, due to mere inattention. Few of the suggestions were worth consideration and these recommendations will help the restaurant to bounce back in the market. For the pest and insect in food, the committee members have suggested having a quality check team that will ensure that all the food that goes to the kitchen department is free from any kind of infection. Few suggested that the food products would be purchased only once in a month and this will ensure that only products are reaching the kitchen. Others suggested that all the existing foods can be disposed and then the complete hotel would undergo pest control. This will ensure that the entire existing pest will go and in the near future, pest control activity can be implemented on quarterly basis. Finally, a cleaning organization can be hired to ensure that the cleaning is taking place at regular intervals (Tasa 2013).
There were plenty of suggestions for usage of expired products in the kitchen. Committee members stated that there should be a team that inspects the date on each product that goes to the kitchen department. This can be considered as quality check. Few members stated that we can buy products from the same store so that they can ensure that only appropriate products are delivered to the restaurant (Volkema 2013).
After so much of discussion, the committee members have decided to hire a quality team. The quality team will check the quality of food that is being delivered to the table of the customers. The quality team will track all the products that come into the restaurant. A scrutiny will take place even when the products enter the kitchen department. This will ensure that expired products are discarded before they are used in the kitchen. With regards to controlling pest, all the existing food items in the kitchen would be discarded. The pest control team would be hired and they will be held responsible to have a pest free kitchen. Finally, a cleaning agency will also be hired so that a clean and hygienic environment can be maintained.
