The report aims at successfully carrying out a system analyses with the objective to provide the board with much more accurate management information. It is expected that the use of a proper system analyses and designing concept it will become easy to identify a standard system that will be capable of delivering high and the benefit towards and Knott end marine engineering.
The paper will successfully carry out the system analyses requirements and will focus on preparing functional and non-functional requirements list, use case diagram for the proposed a system, activity diagram for the existing system, class diagram for existing system, object diagram for existing system and proposed a high-level solution for the case scenario. Lastly the report will also focus on successfully preparing a project diary that will detail and discuss about the method that has been selected for carrying out the system analysis. The successful evaluation of the system requirements will lead to offering positive advantages. It is expected that the proposed solution will have the opportunity to manage the operations much more accurately. The new system will address all the existing errors and will deliver high-end output.
Functional requirements are referred to the features and functions that are developed for the purpose of ensuring that the basic requirements associated with the system is being fulfilled. With the help of a functional requirements, it becomes easy for the users to accomplish the task (Rahman et al. 2019). It is very important to make all the requirements clear in front of the stakeholders as these help in handling the specific conditions much more appropriately. The functional requirements that are expected to be offered with the new system are discussed below:
It is expected that the introduction of a new and enhanced system will be capable of offering higher advantage towards the organisation.
Non-functional requirements are referred to the system attributes that helps in managing. The basic requirements associated with the key non-functional requirements that must be addressed by a buddy system include security, performance, scalability, usability and reliability. At present it can be stated that the Knott End Marine Engineering organisation aims at developing properties system that will be capable of offering better services towards the three boat yards (Olsina and Becker 2018). The new system of Knott End Marine Engineering must be capable of increasing the customer loyalty so that a proper advantage can be obtained. As a result, the system must have all necessary functioning to achieve the desired objective. They expected non-functional requirements that are going to be offered with the new system are discussed below:

The above use case diagram is being developed for the purpose of understanding the way stock control system within the organisation is going to work. In this diagram the main actors who are interacting with the system are customer and chandler. The detailed diagram helps in better understanding over the performances and ensure that all information is being shared within the system successfully.

The above use case diagram is developed for the purpose of understanding the ordering process associated with the system. The key actors that are associated with the ordering process systems are Broughton, customers and apprentice.

The above use case diagram is developed for understanding the way repair management system is going to work within the business unit. The repair management is associated with the Manchester ship canal. The 2 main actors associated with the repair management system at Stephan Arkwright and government.

The above use case diagram is developed with the motive to understand the way property management takes place within the system. Property management needs to be identified successfully so that the solution can be obtained properly. The two major actors associated with system are solicitor and Elizabeth Arkwright.

Activity diagram is used for the purpose to understand the basic activities that takes place within a system. The existing system activity diagram is being represented in the diagram so that it becomes easy to understand and analyse the way flow of activity takes place within the existing system of the Knott End Marine Engineering organisation. Knott End Marine Engineering operates with the actor’s customer, chandler, accounts, board of directors and workers. Each and every actor is responsible for contributing towards the execution of the business process.

Object diagram is referred to the UML structural diagram that is used for the purpose of showing the instances of classifiers in models. With the help of object, the diagram it becomes easy to identify the classes and associated relationship between the system. With the help of an efficient object the diagram it becomes easy to understand the basic entities and requirements associated with the system (MilovanÄević et al. 2019). The above object diagram has been developed to be the different objects including item, purchase, customers, Chandler, repair, payment, workers, skilled workers and student. Each object is responsible for providing with the ability to work much more efficiently. Each object has associated attributes and relationship for managing the operations.

In order to carry out the operations that takes place in the Knott End Marine Engineering organisation, it is important to develop an efficient system that will provide the customers with the ability to access information much more efficiently. The proposed solution will allow easy way of interacting with Knott End Marine Engineering so that all the necessary transaction can be carried out successfully. The basic components that are associated with the proposed resolution includes stock control system, accounts system, ordering processes and repair management system. Each system will contribute towards the growth of the organization. It can be stated that the successful introduction of the system will lead to managing the operations much more efficiently. These will provide with high advantages and will also address the functioning that are expected within the system. The identified object associated with the proposed high-level solution are item, purchase, payment, customers, repair, Chandler, and worker. Knott End Marine Engineering will achieve high advantage with the successful introduction of the new system. The new system will be capable of tracking all necessary objectives and operations.
Object oriented modelling is the approach that has been utilised for the purpose of analysing the basic requirements associated with the system. It has been ensured that all the necessary factors are being considered while developing the design. The new system will offer a better way of handling the basic components (Maylawati, Darmalaksana and Ramdhani 2018). With the help of object-oriented approach, it became easy to identify the data and processes associated with the object. This is similar to agile methodology as these offers the iterative development approach and ensures that all basic requirements are being fulfilled successfully.
Object oriented approach helps in viewing the system from a bottom of view. These is responsible for combining data and processes together into object. With the help of an information system, it becomes easy for object the oriented analysis to design the system. The key objects associated with a system can be customers, contracts, dental agreement or suppliers (Padhy, Satapathy and Singh 2017). Object oriented programming allows easy way of developing system requirements with the help of unified modelling language. While carrying out this assessment the focus was to successfully analyse the system requirements using object-oriented approach so that it becomes easy to improve the system quality and productivity. With the successful utilisation of object-oriented approach, it became easy to achieve high efficiency (Balykhin et al. 2018). Hence it can be stated that the decision over selecting the approach has not only helped in enhancing the business operations but has also provided ways to iteratively carry out operations.
The major advantages that are expected to be obtained with the successful utilisation of object-oriented approach are problem-solving capability, flexibility with the help of UML diagrams, reuse of data and a better analysis of the situation (Blaha 2018). It is expected that the successful utilisation of the selected approach will not only help in developing an efficient system but will also ensure that the basic aims associated with the organisation are being fulfilled successfully. Knott End Marine Engineering organization will be capable of achieving high advantage with the help of the selected system analysis and designing method.
The paper has successfully evaluated the concepts associated with the system analysis and designing. The main objective of the paper was to analyse the basic requirements that are associated with the system. The paper has focused on analysing the current system associated with Knott End Marine Engineering. The report has also focused on analysing the way through which a new system has to be developed. With the detailed analyses of the system, it becomes easy to understand the way operations must be carried out. It can be stated that the utilisation of proper resources leads to offering positive value towards the business. Hence it can be concluded that the proposed solution will help the Knott End Marine Engineering organisation to achieve higher advantage.
