What elements of your work area’s Business Plan will you be responsible for or contribute to?

I will be responsible for developing a performance plan that will outline the outcome expected, the right output to be attained and the purpose of the team. I will prepare a team performance plan that will state the goals of the team, individuals’ roles and action points that will produce results.

Ensure that the team works as a unit by developing teamwork strategies and motivate the team to. support each team member and to work as a team.

Support the team through conflict resolution mechanisms, training them to foresee challenges and work on ways of settling work disputes.

Encourage the team to use the proper communication channels to communicate their ideas, and to resolve conflicts following protocols.

What learning and development activities will you undertake this year and how will your new skills and knowledge be applied on the job?

Training on branding, the team will be training on the branding of the club so as to continue promoting the right information on the FSEC brand.

Marketing skills: the team will be trained on marketing skills like digital marketing so that they can employ these skills to attract more people and gain more visibility. The team will benefit from the knowledge of digital applications since they will improve on the ability to organize integrate and communicate the crucial information effectively.

The team will be trained on emotional intelligence. Every day the team is dealing with people. It is important that they be trained on emotional intelligence skills to assist them, to relate better with the people.

The team also will be trained in analytical d=skills that will improve their ability to evaluate and access on area of improvements in the future.

Are there any changes to the work environment or arrangements that would assist you to do your job?

Conducive working environment, the team proposed that they will need the workstations to have better lighting and have more working space for them to be able to do their jobs better. This will help elevate their moods and be more motivated to do their jobs.

The team will need to be trained on the areas proposed training areas to increase their productivity.

The team also will need to issue with new devices that have modern technology to assist them, stay updated with modern technology and also to assist them maximise of their productivity output.
