Sexually Transmitted Infection (STIs) is one of the most common health problems in Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander. It has been reported that 2320 people, comprising 60% of the females are tested for STI (The Department of Health, 2021). Adolescence is a time in which complex biological, physiological, and social changes occur. Health education project needs to make youth aware about the sexually transmitted disease. Sexual interaction is the most common way of acquiring it. Sexual health education initiatives are one strategy to promote Indigenous Australians' sexual health. They are generally social and behavioural treatments that use tactics such as counselling, education, health promotion activities, and community development to try to lower the risk of exposure to the person and community (Morris, et al., 2005). The bacterium that causes sexually transmitted disease can be passed from one person to another through blood, sperm, and other bloody fluids. It is important to give knowledge about sexually transmitted Infection to people and youth. The health project gives education to the youth about STI, like give them proper knowledge about the disease and provide them information on how it can be cured. It has been recorded that Australian communities have among the highest diagnosed rates of sexually transmissible infections in the world. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are a backward area of Australia and they don’t have any knowledge about STI (Strobel & Ward, 2021)). Thus, the health project will be able to give them information about the STI and educate them about its cause. The health project education will teach them how the sexually transmitted disease can be cured. Health project education will conduct several campaigns to provide them education and teach them the use of condoms to prevent STI. In the five-year period from 2012 to 2016, injectable drug use was responsible for a larger proportion of new HIV notifications among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people when the Torres Strait Islander population is compared to the non-Indigenous population (14% compared to3%) (The Department of Health, 2019). The Project will teach them how the use of a needle can also cause an STIs to a person. Thus, it is advised by the health education project to take all the precautions and made a cure for this disease.
