Introduction

There are total three subsets of Communist and Socialist literature, as presented by the Karl Marx, particularly in a section of his book The Communist Manifesto. Moreover, in this paper there will be a brief description about the concepts of socialism, more particularly about the reactionary socialism, conservative socialism and critical utopian criticism.

Concepts of Socialism

Reactionary Socialism: Marx has presented in his book that there are in total 3 subsets of the communist and the socialist literature. And out of these three the first one is Reactionary Socialism. Moreover, Reactionary socialists, is not team of individual group, but comprises of the Petty-Bourgeois socialists, the German and Feudal Socialists, or some “true” socialists (Engels & Marx, 2004). Without realizing early process, represented by the bourgeoisie; all of these above mentioned groups fights against the rise of modern industry and bourgeoisie. Moreover, they objected the bourgeoisie because they were threat to their lives, and just because of this reason they were objecting bourgeoisie. This signifies that, it is true that they were objecting the bourgeoisie and the communism they follow, but at the end of the day they also want to follow Communism by being the communists. As since they were supporting the other people who were against the bourgeoisie people thus it was clear that, at last both communists and socialists are somewhere following the same pattern.

Conservative Socialism: Moreover, the second subset of the Socialism is Bourgeois or conservative socialism. To redress the social grievances, this second subset echoes the expectations of a segment of bourgeoisie people. And this is done so that the guarantee of continued presence of bourgeoisie society could be made. The main target or the idea which they believe in is that there should only be bourgeoisie people all around without any proletariat. Also these bourgeoisie people believe to make a society which could be addressed as the best, should be the society where they have the main power and alongside they want that the proletariat should be on the weaker side, but also to stop the people who are dominant bourgeoisie (Menand, 2016). Lastly, it is clear that since the situation is just opposite as of the people proletariat people or the reactionary socialists, hence there will be similar case as of the case of reactionary socialism, where both, the communist and the conservative socialism are somehow similar to each other.

Critical-Utopian socialism: It is the third subset of the socialism and communism literature. This was originated for the proletariat so that they can achieve their own ends. And just because of the reason that the critical-utopian socialists also work for the benefits of the proletariat people, thus it could be said that at the end this type of socialism is also somewhere similar with reactionary socialism as well as with the communism (GÜÇLÜ, 2014).

Conclusion

After considering all of the above mentioned details and the facts mentioned in the book as well as in this essay, it could be concluded that these three types of the socialism are some way or the other similar to the communism and also at the same time are different from it.
