The Memory Game

The game goes by the name, ‘The Memory Game’. The game tests the concentration of its players. The game board consists of 16 cards with 8 unique cards from the deck, placed in a grid. The position of these cards are shuffled every time that the player starts or restarts the game. These cards remain turned down. The player is then required to reveal each card and if two consecutive guesses match, the cards stay revealed otherwise; the cards are turned back again. The game also plays a ‘chime’ music to alert the player when two cards match. Likewise, when all 16 cards are revealed, the game ends with CONGRATULATIONS message for the player. The game also keeps track of the time taken by the player to win the game completely. A star rating is also given based on the number of moves made to finish the game. The criteria for the Star Rating are as follows:

• Three Stars: Up to 22 moves.
• Two Stars: More than 22 moves but not more than 30 moves.
• One Star: More than 30 moves.

The player has the option to click the RESET button to restart the game at any point of time.

Installation

• Extract rarto a directory.
• Open the extracted folder.
• Open the htmlfile with a suitable Internet Browser to play.
