Introduction

The purpose of this report is to provide and promote ideas for improving project management communication at the workplace for effective management. This report includes various points such as a detailed description of the different strategies of project management communication and description of project management communication strategies at the other places of business with identifying the three new options for the strategies of project management communication strategies with defining its advantages and disadvantages where the report will provide descriptive evidence for the issue of with brief overview.

Project management communication strategies 

Project management is a process of eliminating the different types of risk through the effective management of a project with the application of processes, methods, skills on a certain criterion (Pmi, 2022). It is a general process that has been used to lead the team to achieve the goals through effective management. Effective project management reduces the potential risks from the business by planning and managing the project to successfully achieve its future goals through effective management. The primary objective of project management is to achieve the goals of a project by following the terms such as the scope of a project, time limit, cost, and quality of a project.

Project management communication is an effective management process that ensures and makes sure that in the execution of a project where the communication process is organized into an effective manner such as message has been sent to the right person at the right time by understanding it clearly (Zulch, 2014). The strategies will identify how important the communication is to stakeholders throughout the projects with determining who will receive the communication. The various types of communication strategies are as follows-

Meet often

Meet often is a management strategy for project plans are put in the place are assigned with the project flow perfectly to the communication. It is an agile approach with arranging the regular meetings and a system for built-in feedback through effectively executing the project through developing clarity in the team (Brighthubpm, 2017). It improves the communication process through organizing daily meetings with clearly defining the roles and responsibilities of an individual.

Tool implication

The implication of different types of project management tools helps in improving project management communication. There are various types of online tools that have been used to effectively manage the project at the workplace such as Work zone, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, and many more (Producttribe, 2020). These tools help in facilitating the conversation for the project team by providing a central hub for communication. In the current situation, the issue is Skype is a new way to effectively communicate with the team on a quick conference call were going to the meeting is an available option for presenting the group presentation with the team through clearly defining the roles and responsibilities as a project management communication strategy.

Check-in regularly and be clear

The check-in regularly process is often used by most of the project managers to effectively communicate with the team by communicating with them where it provides a clear platform and chance to speak to everyone if they have any issue that is important to solve. Be clear approach is related to providing clear roles and responsibilities to an individual where it helps managers in analyzing the progress reports of individuals.

Transparency, clarity, and concise

Communication is related to the issue of transparency, clear and conscience by providing a clear vision to them to facilitate the developing an interactive environment to execute a project in the project management team at various levels across the different apartments that have been combined to complete a project (Alexander, 2016).

Time training

Time training is a project management technique that has been used to improve the communication in managing a project through overlooking training with developing clear and familiar in teams with the idea of different types of communication styles which can help in working together ( Chapman & Rosenhead, 2022). The training is provided through verbal, non-verbal, and visual communication.

The different types of project management communication strategies have been used to reduce the risk of failure of a project because in a process of executing a project there are various departments are aligned in a business for the effective management of a project where it manages the communication process between the different places of a business to achieve the overall goal of a project (Thedigitalprojectmanager, 2022). The primary project management strategies that have been assigned with interactive communication, pull communication and pull communication where interactive connection helps in establishing a face-to-face meeting with the issue of ineffective communication. Push communication is used in engaging the stakeholders and receiving a response from them quickly through emails, documentation, and newsletters. Pull communication is a method that has been used to access the information to develop trust between the individual departments, stakeholders, and project managers to provide transparency in the work (Monnappa, 2021).

The proposed new options for improving the issue of project management communication strategies that have been used are as follows-

· It relies and depends on the qualification of the trainers.

· It does not identify that everyone gets their role and responsibility as discussed previously to achieve the organizational goals.

Group meeting

· Time to get everyone aligned with the management of a project.

· It assists in updating and decision-making.

· It is a time-consuming process that affects the production ability

· It fails to identify the key objective of the goals of a project.

Conclusion

Based on the above study it is concluded that the issue project management is a tool that has been used to specify the knowledge and technique of which agreed on the same parameter where the effective communication is an important factor for the effective execution of a project where the communication strategies are such as meet often, tool implication, check in regularly, time training, transparency and clarity which helps in developing effective communication at the workplace. The effective management of communication in a project is related to the effective communication process in different elements of a project. The three project management communication strategies are project management, Implication through training programs, and RACI chart.
