Introduction

The diagram below shows how the Selection of the required ERP components for ease of system use. From the provided accounting system below. I have used it to design a domain model for the accounting information system. The ERP system is designed in such away that the system is working based on the relationship generated during the development of the software.

This report entails the company called Marathon. The company has implemented its ICT to give them a platform in which they can easily manage their properties. The software that is being used is called enterprise resource planning. The software is composed of the following modules which includes the business process model. The process model entails e-procurement, customer purchase order, sales and marketing, procurement etc. the modules are linked together using tables that are relational. The relational tables mutual benefit from each other through extraction of data using unique identifier called primary key.

Marathon is a new customer entering into the market. The role of the marathon company is to be given access to certain privileges such that has accessibility to the following roles within the system model as shown below;

• It is required for the new customer (marathon) to be established within the system model
• Global airways customer must be established within the system model
• Develop a database table to describe the product details and must indicate the companyid
• There is need for the general ledger account of these two companies to be known
• The general ledger account includes the following requirements
  • Marathon needs to be credited because of the supplies
  • All debtor accounts
  • Delivery and reception of finished microphone goods
  • Sales amount of all microphones purchased by Global airways

Process Model

Creating a customer Global Airways as shown below. The customer must be able to access the cost of goods and prices. Must be able to make credits to the organization.

 

Creating the supplier Marathon

As shown in the diagram below describes the process model on how the information access is being done. Each and every user must login to the account and access the roles depending on the department. Each user is assigned a scope of work as per the responsibilities. This idea is to make the database secure so that no one will interfere with the process such as transactions and so on.

The design for this model is procedural and is based on the user account. Not everybody is allowed to access all the features except for the admins only. The reason is because of security concerns in relation to trust and the integrity of the system.

Reports and analysis

Also, the system model offers statistics through reporting allowing the system users to make critical thinking within a shorter time possible. The reports are generated using the data stored in the database and are presented in the form of charts and graphs as presented in this figure below.

The reports that are generated using this system model is used to design and determine the profit margin of the company. The users are created to have their own accounts through which they can be able to view the cost of goods.

This is a management project report describing the use of accounting management information system. Each and every component of this application has been automated such that everything is computerized. The system is designed to generate reports based on the tables available within the database system. These tables are given different attributes that enables them to relate in one way or another. Each and every table must have a primary key. In every relational database in this tables must have a primary key and a foreign key. For example, the table in the employee and the accounts table have a relationship in nature. The relationship is that in the accounts table employee id is the foreign Key FK whereas the account’s id is the primary key. This is called normalization. The table is in its second normal form. As we can see in the diagram below is a domain network diagram for the management information system showing how it was designed.in this normalization of different tables using database schemas as presented will allow the system users to avoid duplicates of data and data redundancy. (Dezdar, and Ainin, 2011) 

Also, there is no double work when related attributes are attached together. The main reason as to why these attributes are linked together is to allow other departments to access and extract all the relevant data to their departments.

The sales international airways will have the privilege to debit all the debtors accounts this role will need each group in this category to post and hence must never be managed by the policies set for the group.  This is because ethe group is relying on the other group data to successfully complete the transactions.

When microphone is being purchased using the system model, the owner of microphone or in charge of selling the microphone will have to make debits in the account and leave the transaction to be approved by the management. Another role to be played by the sales microphone is to make sure that credits are made to all the sales accounts for microphone. The system model will put it in the ledging account arranging all the expense, and liabilities and develop a trial balance account details to be used by the management to generate all the reports.

Dynamic ERP system model

As shown in the diagram below describes the Microsoft dynamics system model in which the users are allotted in different groups. It shows that the system model is composed of a database system model where each and every user has its own roles.  The layout is self-explanatory in the diagram labels. The security status is different in each level. Each and every user must login to the account using centennials provided during the creation of the account.

In the design model, there is both internal and external security model that has been enhanced using the firewall system model. The system users include the customers who are using the point of sale, web portal and VPN servers for client site. There is also the admin site that require more advanced security to be enhanced in order for the system users to be secure at all times. (Chen, Law, and Yang, 2009)
