Answer:

In the world of ethics, good and bad are subjective in nature based on their desirability and applicability. When qualities of purposeful, fit, and desirability are shown in form of a purpose in some activities of character attributes, and approach, they are collectively said to be good. Hence, good is the meaning of the “fit for purpose” clause and same is for the morally admirable persons or their work. Bad is just the opposite and absence of all the aforesaid arguments (Sinclair, 2020). That is whenever a person is morally unfit for some work or task with lack of relevance of the purpose, are called bad in that context. However, as per Abrahamic religions, evil is the character that shows antagonism to the hero or protagonist, which is more related to the profound immorality.

Good and evil are the pronounced together as the former gives birth to the presence of the later and in the end, the good shall conquer the evils. Moreover, good and bad is a relative concept that is related to fitness of a character, person, event, or quality with respect to a set of desirability or set of moral guidelines. Wrong is opposite of right that denotes correctness and relevance of conformance to rules. Hence, good-bad sense is the social norms of moral philosophies. Evil is the ultimate form of badness and knowing so, the person still continues to do the acts or deeds. While bad is seen to be just the opposite of good that coexist in a society along with good (Allen & Dodd, 2018).

On a personal level I used to think that way before reading the Upanishads and Nietzsche that repealed the Judeo-Christian values and ideals of morality. In the Book, “Beyond Good and Evil” he has mentioned that a social transformation of the non-good ideals via religious modification that has been titled by the people of the slave mentality that are oppressed and weak based on religious ideals and their misunderstanding. All the game of right or wrong, bad or evil, in life has nothing to do with its condition of fitness or moral psychology. The concept is rather big, very big that if one understands, can change their lives completely from the moment onwards. Right, wrong, good, or bad are futile concepts for the ruled and oppressed class, while the master mentality people rules the world with their power and utility. Hence, I have learnt form life that developing utility should be the main pursuit of life as good, bad, right, wrong, all are transient (Jacob, Decker & Lugg, 2016).

If one is powerful, has utility, the society will be inspired and worshipping him even if he is morally wrong or righteously correct. Most of the people on earth like to shed their cowardice under the skin of morality but they neither have power nor utility. Hence, cowardice is even dangerous than wrong, bad or evil. The world needs powerful people, it needs men with prowess and energy that can harness a desirable social change and save the oppressed. Even if their assessment of character and work fall on the side of immoral, wrong, evil, or unjust morally, their contribution to the society and saving the oppressed will make them right and good in the diary of the timeline of history (Fischer, 2016).My idea of the Nature of Human Beings, Responsibility of the People for their Actions, and Definitions of Beliefs, Values, Morality, Conscience, and Ethics

Human beings are said to be the highest form of creation of God and probably the only race among other 8.4 million yonis (sex) (Sinclair, 2020). Humans are different from other creatures in the very idea of their conscience and values that are absent in any other form of species be it mammals or reptiles. Hence, the concept of morality has emerged in the recent studies of ethics that have been called differently in various forms of civilizations across the timeline of the world history (Chenneville & Schwartz-Mette, 2020). These moral sense are often said to be the group of values, virtues, ideals, and philosophies that shapes one’s life to adapt with righteousness and the very predisposition that makes a man, a human being.

Thus, human beings are bound by the natural principles of rising above just being human or a body of blood and flesh and to serve for the greater cause of their being on earth, or human birth. Three broad areas are there that govern one’s ethical behaviors such as the ability of an individual to choose between right and wrong, making value judgments, and anticipating the aftermath of one’s deeds and decisions. Every action and decision compounds, and has some form of reaction as is the third law of motion of Sir Isaac Newton (Allen & Dodd, 2018).

Likewise, the human decisions to choose the right or the wrong path is relative to the set of values, aftermath, and their results. An ethical man is the one that has a vision to foresee the results of his actions and based on the plausible outcome shaping their deeds. Moreover, the nature of human beings in general is very complex and is mostly governed by the five senses and the fear of failure or the future. The one who has raised himself above all these is a saint that shall be worshiped by the society, not because of their achievement of raising from senses to conscience, but because of the knowledge and experience they perceived during the process of this conversion (Wassenaar & Slack, 2016).

To me and the little experience of life that I have so far, values are the set of personal beliefs or ideals that motivate and propel an individual to act in a certain manner and serve as the major guide of deciding human behavior. Belief is the attitude of humans to become sure about something to be true and existing. Morality is the set of behaviors, beliefs, values, or ideals that differentiates the right and wrong actions, intentions, and decisions. While, ethics is the branch of moral philosophy that include the process of inculcating, systemizing, protecting, and referring concepts of the wrong behavior from the right ones (Janel, 2018). However, ethics is more pronounced for the professional field but morals or morality are always subject to the self-awareness, self-possession, and the character himself.

Conscience is the process of cognition that govern the rational and emotional associations on the basis of one’s philosophy or morality and value-system. Hence, conscience is the moral introspection of a person that guides him through the path of virtue, righteousness, religiosity, and moral conduct. To sum up, ethics is the need of the hour, moral is the need of the mind, values are the direction of the soul, and conscience is the very essence of human life that must be adapted by the global citizens or else, the globe is a soon-to-be debris of human conflicts and graveyard of unethical practices (Sugerman, 2015).Values that Drawn me to become a Psychologist, Reflection of the Values in the Type of My Work, Operation of Psychology in Legal Agencies for the Government, and Process of Operation of the Psychologists for Government, State, and Private Corporate Interests

The values that drawn me to become a psychologist are the wide range of scope, the career provides. Psychology is the subject that gives one the idea of the mind and its nature. One who knows the mind, knows everything, as said by the scholars. Becoming a psychologist require a profound knowledge of psychology and how to apply this subject in counselling people and mitigating their problems related to the mind.  I chose the career option as the job provides me a complete package of all the best possible options of how one’s career should look like (Morrissey et al., 2015).

Starting with a deep and wide range of client base and understanding the minds of different kinds of people and providing solution for them on an individual level. Doing this over time will make me feel free from alienation and monotony as I will reading about the different coordinates of the human mind and exploring different areas of the subject and wide scope of understanding the mind of almost all classes of the social-people. A good financial sustainability is the other added advantage because psychologist are on high demand these days due to the increasing number of cases of mental illness and disorders. Ethics, morals, conscience, consciousness, and empathy are the most important values that actually dragged me towards this profession (Pope, 2018).

Ethics is required in this profession on a daily basis as the client that I face on a regular basis are from different origin, social-cultural background, and provinces of the globe. Understanding their minds is equivalent to understanding them and which are a private part of every individual’s personal life and liberty associated with privacy (O’Donohue, 2020). Hence, not sharing any patient’s personal details, history, or deeds shall be the first group of ethics that I must follow on a regular basis. Empathy is the next moral that is reflected on my daily practice that help me to walk on the client’s shoe so that I can understand his/her pain and agony or the state of mind. Moreover, conscience and consciousness are the two most important moral factor that I always work on as a human being first, then as a psychologist. These two morals make me feel happy as an individual and my consciousness tell me to save people form their psychological distress and illness (Lacroix, Dobson & von Ranson, 2018).

Psychologists often get call from the legal, state or federal agencies due to the nature of the subject and the essence of knowing the mind in deciding and providing crucial information to the experts regarding different crimes and frauds, investigation process, and individual interests of the persons of the legislature, executive or the judiciary of the nation (Stern, 2016).

The Psychologists often operate as agents for the state and the federal governments, private and corporate interests due to the increasing scope of the subject in almost everything related to life, business, politics, economy, science, law, crime, investigation, civil procedures, corporates, and organizations (Sales & Krauss, 2015). Additionally, they input the principles of psychology in understanding the minds of the criminals, convicts, politicians, people from psephology, war strategists, diplomats, foreign relations, local and national administrators, business decisions, understanding the minds of the employees and all stakeholders of a business. Often, the psychologists act as a facilitators for the capitalists in evolving new marketing ideas that are unethical but clicks the minds of the buyers and it makes the customers to purchase a product without any comparison or purchasing decision-making analysis (Posner, 2015).
