Introduction

A personal health behaviour change program will be framed. This program is focusses over adding physical exercise and eating balanced diet in the daily schedule of the person. The relative success in changing the target behaviour will also be analysed. The psychological and physiological responses will be analysed. A complete intervention study will be developed.

Plan Of Health Behaviour Change Program

The major objective of health behaviour change program is related with changing the daily schedule of the person by adding physical exercise and balanced diet in the schedule of the person. In this program, the focus will be provided over changing the habit of inactivity and lack of receiving necessary food ingredients, which are the essential part of the diet. by one student (Jung & Yang , 2021).

Health behaviour problem: The student is facing problem due to physical inactivity. He is also facing problem of fatigue because of insufficient diet.

A perfect intervention strategy will be made so that healthy behavioural practices will be adopted by the person. The person was suffering from extreme fatigue. He was also leading towards being obese. His weight is kept on increasing and he is at high risk factor (Jung & Yang , 2021).

This intervention strategy needs a lot of care and awareness which helps in boosting the moral of the person so that he will continue to do physical exercise for at least 40 minutes per day. Apart from this, having a balanced diet including milk, dairy products, protein and mineral rich food ingredients are necessary to be eaten by the person.

The major goals of intervention strategy are associated with making the person fit and healthy for life time. He would not be able to attain a sound health by only doing physical exercise but also daily intake of rich diet is essential for his physical fitness. Adopting regular healthy practices is necessary for the person. If the person will not be regularly motivated, he would again adopt unhealthy practices which will be very bad for his future (Jung & Yang , 2021).

Case History Related With Health Behaviour

This strategy is based upon understanding the health problem of the person. In this case, the person is suffering from initial level of weight gaining problem. He always feels fatigue and find very difficult to be active every time. He is also suffering from high stress level and cannot concentrate in his studies and career (Jung & Yang , 2021).

The person was also facing problems in concentrating over anything. He was lacking behind in studies. Apart from this, the person is also not able to do good in any field of his life. He was facing a lot of mental stress. He was facing problem in sleeping. Feeling of drowsiness is very common. It can be said that he was not able to live a healthy life because of his habit of inactivity and poor eating habits. Previously, he was doing satisfactory in his studies. He was also doing satisfactory in sports but before two years, he was not even able to get passing marks in his tests. This is a very serious health problem which need to give emergency attention (Jung & Yang , 2021).

Habit of inactivity is proving very harmful for his health. This habit is destroying his health. Constant consumption of smoking not only leads twoarsd increasing the risk of having lungs problem but also it enhances the chances of having risk of heart diseases and many other diseases. Physical inactivity and obesity also make the person restless which may lead towards having depression and many other mental diseases (Johnston, et al., 2021).

Participants

The research will be done over five persons who are in between the age of 20 years to 25 years. The level of physical activity and dietary habits of them will be analysed. A complete inspection of the person will be done for two weeks. On the basis of the research, results will be finding out.

Procedure

The research will be done with the help of communicating all the five participants through mobile communication mode. Use of other communication techniques will also be taken into consideration. Regular update of the five participants will be analysed for two weeks.

Intervention Strategy

A perfect intervention strategy is required to improve the health status of the person. First of all, the person should adopt light physical exercise on a daily basis like running, jogging, skipping, swimming or any other exercise. A step-by-step strategy need to be designed for preventing the person from his unhealthy behaviour (Priest, et al., 2008).

Very effective healthcare professionals and healthcare workers are needed to implement the intervention strategy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also required to interact with the person who is facing the health problem. Apart from this, use of mobile and other communication techniques are necessary to be adopted by the persons so that they can frequently interact with the person who is facing the health problem (Johnston, et al., 2021).

Establishing proper channels are required so that people can be motivated towards adopting healthy behavioural practices on a daily basis. Establishing better communication with the persons is the basic thing which need to be required by the healthcare professionals (Priest, et al., 2008).

Intake of balanced diet is an integral part of intervention strategy. If the person is not receiving balanced diet on a regular basis, he will not be able to enjoy sound health throughout his life. Apart from this, regular exercise not only helps in achieving a sound health but also it is helpful in gaining physical fitness by maintaining weight of the person. It prevents the person in becoming excessive obese. In many cases, it has been found that people start doing physical activity for hardly two to three months, then they will again start to adopt unhealthy practices and become inactive. Regular physical exercise not only boost the immunity of the person but also it makes him psychologically fit which helps the person in performing well in every field of his life (Priest, et al., 2008).

Remaining highly inactive may leads towards serious health issues. Obesity is one of the major health problems which is facing by most of the people because they are highly inactive. Apart from this, if the person is not taking balanced diet, there may be deficiency of necessary mineral and vitamins in his body which may also leads towards serious health problems. Extreme fatigue and excessive weight may result in depression which is sometimes convert in mental problems (Jung & Yang , 2021).

This phenomenon needs to tell the person so that he can develop a strong will power for doing at least two physical activity on a regular basis. There is an urgent need has been arising to design and launch a health beneficial intervention strategy so that person can be aware from the harmful diseases which are caused due to physically inactive and receiving insufficient diet (Johnston, et al., 2021).

Health Change Program

First of all, a detail instruction will be given to the person so that he will be able to understand the consequences of having being physical inactive. The consequences of having insufficient and poor diet like eating pizzas, burgers, cooldrinks and packaged food, will also be explained. He needs to be told about all the consequences of consuming food with excessive sugar and fats.  Detail analysis over the diseases which may cause due to eating fast foods and unhealthy foods will also be described (Cheung, et al., 2021).

The person needs to first make comfortable so that he can share his personal problem with the healthcare professionals. A detail study proves his unhealthy behavioural practices will be analysed so that a proper intervention strategy can be developed (Johnston, et al., 2021).

Instructions and discussion with the person also guide the healthcare professionals so that they can frame a suitable strategy which can help them in improving the health behaviour of the person (Priest, et al., 2008).

Making the person understand about the consequences of smoking is really beneficial in improving the health status of the person (Priest, et al., 2008).

A proper health program will be developed. This health program is based upon helping the person in doing minimum two physical activities which are beneficial for health. Approximate two weeks is needed for implementing this program (WHO, 2021).

Apart from this, promoting the person towards receiving healthy diet is also a major part of this health beneficial strategy. A balanced diet program and regular exercise is also very beneficial in achieving success. The major objective of this intervention strategy is to remove the extra weight of the person and achieving a sound health (RGN & RGN, 2002).

A lot of research is required for preparing and launching the health behaviour changing implementation strategy. If the strategy is not useful for the person, there need to adopt urgent steps (Johnston, et al., 2021). After analysing the health practices of the person, the complete intervention strategy will be implemented and analysed. Proper monitoring of the health behaviour of the person will also be analysed. Constant monitoring of the behaviour and practices of the person will be done (French, et al., 2017).

The healthcare professionals can easily continue the health intervention strategy with the help of using online techniques so that the information about adopting unhealthy behavioural practices can be spread to the person in a convenient method. The intervention strategy has been proved very helpful in improving the health of the person (French, et al., 2017).

The community nurses also played a major role in making the participants understood about the consequences of become physically inactive (Priest, et al., 2008).

A balanced diet chart is also provided to the participants so that they can adopt a healthy life style and remain fit (RGN & RGN, 2002).

Use of mobile and video calling need to be used to consult with the person about his habits.  If the person is able to do regular physical exercise (At least for two weeks), then it would lead towards successful implementation of the intervention strategy. If the person will not be able to continue healthy behavioural practices, there is a need to modify the whole intervention strategy (Priest, et al., 2008).

If the health behaviour of the person will be going in a right direction, it will be very good for the future of the person (Jung & Yang , 2021).

Regular monitoring and assessing the health practices of the person is also very challenging. Proper communication channels are required for assessing the health behaviour of the person. Apart from this, the person should be honest in giving the feedback regarding his health behaviour (Johnston, et al., 2021).

The person needs to be constantly motivated towards adopting healthy practices. Regular monitoring and counselling are required for maintaining the health of the person. Promoting the healthy practices of health behaviour is also very challenging task (French, et al., 2017).

The person needs to regulated by the healthcare professionals so that proper change in the health behaviour will be analysed (Cheung, et al., 2021).

If the person will be demotivated and again start to become inactive and lazy, it would be very harmful for his behaviour. Constant focus over the health behaviour leads towards continuation of the process of achieving sound health ( Badham, et al., 2021).

The major changes which are taking place in order to improve the health status of the person is necessary to be evaluated and checked so that the effectiveness of change can be enhanced. The factors which can resists the change should be well evaluated so that the person can receive more benefits from the change process (Armoon, et al., 2021).

The evaluation of complete intervention strategy is necessary to be done because minute mistakes and faults usually arises while implementing the health education program. Evaluation, monitoring and updating the health education program helps in the success of health education program (WHO, 2021).

Constant motivation is very necessary for promoting the healthy practices in the behaviour which is helpful in maintaining a good health. Achieving sound health require a lot of motivation by the healthcare professionals because many of the cases, people feel demotivated and again adopt the previous unhealthy behavioural practices (WHO, 2021).

Discussion

Implementation Of Change In Health Behaviour

Changing the behaviour of the person is such a difficult task. If the person once addicted towards consuming sugary and unhealthy food, it is very difficult to make him understand about the consequences of eating unhealthy food. Apart from this, if the person is already become physically inactive, it is very difficult to boost him towards doing necessary physical exercise (WHO, 2021).

Maintaining worklife balance is also very important because if the person is work alcoholic, it is very difficult for him for doing physical exercise on a regular basis. Self-motivation is very much required to be followed by the person so that he can continue to do physical exercise and remain fit. Implementing the change in health behaviour is such a challenging task (Wolff, et al., 2021).

First of all, a brief counselling will be given to the person so that he can ready to adopt healthy behavioural practices. At last, a perfect diet plan and a perfect exercise plan will be given to the person so that he will be able to live a healthy lifestyle (Johnston, et al., 2021).

Conclusion

On the basis of above discussion, it can be said that implementing changes in the heath behaviour of the person is a very difficult task. Proper strategy is required for achieving physical fitness of the person.
