This essay will discuss about the importance of healthy and balanced diet in the lives of young people and how it benefits them.
Junk food is considered to be an unhealthy food with high number of calories and a very less or little number of vitamins and proteins. Junk food, being a heavy diet can cause and lead to many negative effects in one’s health (Antony & Bhatti, 2015).
It has been observed in today’s time that young people have changed their lifestyles and have started consuming meals that are not considered to be healthy for their body and health. In order to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle, it becomes very important and necessary to look after the diet plan and should always have a healthy and balanced diet specially the young youth (Kaushik, Narang & Parakh, 2011).
Similarly, it is equally important for them to be aware about the nutrition and its intake to have a balanced diet. They should be aware about how nutrition and balanced diet plays an important role in keeping their body safe and healthy (Rempel, 2015).
It is said that balanced and healthy diet is mainstays for health which particularly has an importance for growing young organism.
