Introduction

The healthcare industry is continuously improving and enhancing with the implementation of adequate healthcare strategies and healthcare outcomes. With the implementation and practice of adequate healthcare strategies, it incurred to develop the healthcare costs. The increasing healthcare costs would result to inability among patients towards receiving care (Burstin, Leatherman & Goldmann, 2016). The increasing in healthcare services would also result in reducing the overall patient experiences. Therefore, resulting towards lower accessibilities of healthcare services and would impact on the overall patient care or health outcome of the patients. In this chapter, the paper would intend to develop adequate recommendations towards identified barriers towards the strategies or implementation plan along with the overall limitation of the plan.

Overview

In the previous discussed chapter, the paper has discussed on causal factors and challenging elements that would result in developing the vulnerabilities towards the healthcare services. The health system is complex and there are multiple associated healthcare challenges that is resulting in poor outcome. It is important to analyze and understand the overall problematic issue of healthcare costs that has reduced the accessibility of healthcare services. It is also important to understand the continual increase in the healthcare cost would have direct impact on the patient care (Watkins et al., 2017). The significance of the problem would provide the adequate recommendation and detail insight towards the issues of poor affordability and accessibility of healthcare services (Dalton & Byrne, 2017). The paper has identified that the most crucial and urgent challenge within the healthcare system is the continual increase of healthcare cost that is contributing towards inability to pay among the patients. The paper has identified multiple drivers such as administrative costs, implementation of innovative technologies, usage of advanced machineries along with the practice of evidence-based practices that has incurred the overall healthcare costs. Some additional causal factors are the continual increase of pharmaceutical drug costs along with paying enough ranges of pay scale to healthcare staffs would result in certain adequate factors. The implementation plan is considered as an effective action that would include the development of planning for implementing, developing decisions along with choosing the appropriate method for implementing the chosen strategy or planned strategies (Aicheler et al., 2019).  The initial element is costs that would include both direct and indirect costs. Healthcare leaders need to invest on implementing the strategic decision that has been discussed in the previous section. Cutting or reducing the potential costs would automatically reduce the overall healthcare costs for the payers. The paper has also discussed in the previous assignments of weeks that there is an adequate role of management that would assist in imposing as well as developing adequate strategic management and operational activities (Lee et al., 2019). The paper has discussed the adequate implementation plan that would include cutting down the indirect as well as direct costs.  For instance, reviewing the additional administrative costs would incur the additional healthcare costs. In the previous section of the assignments, the implementation of desired or developed strategic planning would develop potential positive result. Some of them include the eliminating of healthcare cost with the help of reducing the administrative cost. Some of them include the outsourcing services costs along with any potential or associate food costs.

Possible Barriers

In this section, the recommendation would be developed towards the potential and possible barriers that may encounter while implementing the strategies for reducing the overall healthcare costs. It would also understand the essential challenges and gap areas that would resist in reducing the prevalence of inability to pay.

Social Barriers

The social barriers would identify the certain factors that would result in developing resistance among the people or community towards receiving the adequate healthcare services. The inability to pay due to higher cost is the initial social barrier towards inaccessibility to healthcare services and patient outcome (Knaak, Mantler & Szeto, 2017). Although, the healthcare organization or healthcare leaders would work towards reducing the potential administrative costs for reducing the overall healthcare services, the major social barrier would include the overall social health condition such as the continual prevalence of HIV or AIDS patients is increasing. The treatment such as Antiretroviral treatment (ART) would incur adequate healthcare costs among the patients (Ghosn et al., 2018). Therefore, it is essential for the healthcare organization to develop adequate health promotional activities that would assist in addressing the overall strategies that would enhance the awareness and knowledge among the people towards managing their health status.

Political Barriers

The political barriers associated with the poor framework of legislation or policies towards the pricing in the healthcare sectors or healthcare industries. The cultural attributes such as the attitudes toward the implementation of the strategies that would work towards reducing the healthcare costs (Tilburgs et al., 2018). Therefore, developing the adequate framework and transparency towards the pricing of healthcare services would reduce or eliminate the identified barrier.

Limitation of Plan

The associated healthcare services would include the overall approaches that would reduce the healthcare costs. However, there are certain factors that would act as a limitation towards the developed recommendation and strategies. Therefore, it is essential to implement adequate approach towards the future work and research.

Scope

The scope of developing the health promotional activities or camping would be considered as poor approach as the plan is lacking in identifying the most vulnerable patient group or needs of the patients. The scope would include multiple approaches and location as well as strategies that would focus in reducing the additional causal factors that would reduce the healthcare costs. However, the planning towards creating the campaigns and essential activities would need essential framework along with the evaluation problem to understand the impact of overall developed recommendations. The identification of key performance indicator is also essential that would assist in understanding the impact of the overall developed strategies.

Cost

The strategies and planning would incur cost towards implementing within the healthcare settings. Although, the approaches or objectives of the strategies would focus on reducing the healthcare costs, certain implementation of recommendation such as campaign and promotional activities would incur additional healthcare cost towards the healthcare organization. The overall approach is to reduce the administration cost and implementing the overall recommended planning or approaches would result in additional healthcare costing that may impact on the patients as it would increase the overall healthcare costs in multiple healthcare services.

Conclusion

From the above discussion, it can be concluded that the paper has identified multiple causal factors that would contribute towards the current healthcare concern or healthcare challenge. The paper has discussed in detailed about multiple health consequences and challenges that would have direct impact on the healthcare costs. Therefore, multiple strategies and interventions have been discussed in multiple chapters that have in-depth discussion. The paper has also provided the scope for the future study as it included the multiple limitation in terms of scope as well as cost that would develop the opportunities for the researchers in further investigation and analysis. Therefore, the paper has developed adequate and in-depth analysis on the continual increase of healthcare costs that would result to inability to pay among the clients or patients. Moreover, it would also develop the poor accessibility towards the healthcare services. Therefore, the paper has concluded that the there is an adequate relationship towards the ability to pay as well as healthcare outcome.
