Part 1

Nursing theory is one type of theory that describe, measure as well as demonstrate the phenomenon of nursing. I believe that nursing theory usually provides or serves as a foundations or pillar of nursing practice, that assists the nurses to generate further skills or knowledge and point out in which direction a nurse should develop the level of practice in the future (Lee, 2014).

From studying the concepts of nursing theories, I found that, a nursing theory assist the nurses to understand or recognize the role of them and the purpose of practice in the healthcare setting and guides healthcare professionals in knowledge development. Nursing theories guide nurses in education, research, as well as develop skills which in turn reflects on their practice (Alligood, 2013). Nursing theories provide nurses an identity sense and help the patients as well as other healthcare experts to identify the contribution that we give to the healthcare service.

Advanced Practice Nursing can be demonstrated while a nurse combines nursing practice with a greater portion of knowledge as well as skills of critical thinking that can be learned through nursing theories and models. APN’s are challenged to evaluate comprehensively the value of their part as well as the effect of their practice.

Nursing models are constructed of various concepts and theories. The theories are applied to assists nurses plan, assess, as well as in implementing patient care by delivering a system how to work. Nursing models moreover offer assistance medical caretakers accomplish consistency and consistent care. Utilizing the demonstrate will grant validity and legitimacy to the APNs' positive affect on the quality and monetary results of care for each understanding and for whole understanding populace (Naylor & Kurtzman, 2010).

This nursing theory changed the nursing philosophies that I believe. The philosophy changed cause of obtaining new knowledge, as well as through professional and personal experiences. With the changes of philosophy, career aspirations might also change. With applying the theories onto practice, I have learned so many advanced knowledges as well as obtained practical skills that changed my view towards nursing.
