The concept of freedom in action as described by the author, Savater (2006) speaks about the will and action of people. Everyone is free to desire whatever they want no matter how difficult it can be to achieve. believes that the right to live is more than just a human right and everyone must be proud of the fact. The people's ability to conduct an action when seeking or anticipating what they desire and sufficiently preparing for the acts' responsibility is accompanied by freedom to exist. Savater discusses the idea of freedom in connection to the condition of sovereignty in chapter 6, "Freedom of Action." The speaker analyzes human behaviors that arise from gained freedom to the simplicity of a tree's development or an animal's activity. To bolster his ideas, Savater combines allusions from various philosophers, like Freud, to strengthen philosophical reasons for freedom and execution. The purpose of the essay is to critically analyze the proposals of Savater on freedom in action and the relation to the Utilitarianism approach.

The daily work is a desire of humans that shows their freedom to action to achieve the goals daily.  Human beings' inner freedoms are linked to certain daily patterns such as the hour they wake in the morning, their daily schedules, and the activities that follow. Humans have the ability to achieve their intended tasks and negotiate around everything they like their minds on.  To provide more context, Savater provides many meanings of freedom (Savater, 2006). He describes freedom as a person's capacity to perform in accordance with their wants and intentions. Second, he explains freedom as the ability to wish anything as they desire, even if they do not act on it. lastly, he defines freedom as the possibility of a human to seek what they never want and never desire what is in their expectations and desire.

Utilitarianism is a part of philosophy that argues for activities that promote enjoyment while opposing actions that cause misery or suffering. The words mark it correctly that humans are escapists, they do not like to get involved in pain and they seek to be happy no matter what it takes, but when it comes to working on their desire they choose to be in the vicinity of freedom. Utilitarian concept is against the theory of egoism (Albee, 2014). Actions that are mended to give happiness may not be actions sought by an egoist. The theory of freedom is connected to the theory of utilitarianism when it comes to action to desire for each individual. There is a close relationship between freedom and action based on the concept of utilitarianism because the action is based on the responsibility of the person and internal desire (Lyons, 2015). They have to make a choice of their action and decision. Thus, freedom generally leads to the selection of the best actions for happiness only. But, when there is a dependency on the responsibility to take any action it gets dependent on other factors like egoism, relativism, and affected by socialism.
