It can be identified that the organisation should focus towards identifying key factors that promote the need for change at the workplace. Such can arise either from the external environment or may be due to internal forces. The analysis is focused towards identifying such forces present within the industry.

Nadina have focused towards defining that there are various external forces driving the changes within the industry such forces include the economic forces, political and legal forces, natural forces as well as technological forces. The author further reflects that there is a need for the implementation of change in order to ensure the business survival within the competitive industry environment [1].
Political force is among the external force that is required to be focused upon, it is being considered as an important aspect as the government has a major impact over the organisation’s operations within the industry, any change in governmental policies may have an impact on the internal decision making as well as may influence the organisation to introduce changes within the industry. The management can deal with such forces by ensuring that the legal formalities are kept updated as well as a timely analysis is being conducted to identify any potential government policy changes[2].
The emerging technologies as well as globalisation contributes towards implementing changes within the organisation. It is required that the management is able to adopt the technological advances within the industry so that its internal effectiveness can be ensured and the customers can be provided with quality products and services[3].
The industry researchers have defined that there are certain internal factors that have an impact on the organisational change plan. Such includes declining effectiveness in terms of employee performance, changing the internal structure or increasing conflicts. Therefore, such factors promote the need for change within the industry so that organisational competitiveness can be ensured to be achieved[4].
Focusing towards the declining performance within the organisation, it is required that the management is able to identify the key factors and the changes are to be introduced. As declining effectiveness may have a long-term impact on customer satisfaction at the workplace and further can affect the organisation’s retention within the industry. Such can be eliminated through focusing towards providing the employees with effective training and development opportunities in competition with the industry key requirements and challenges[5].
Change in the managerial structure or the position has a key impact over change management, as with the introduction of any new leading personnel within the organisation, they come with new thought as well as leadership practices which helps the organisation in order to achieve the competitiveness within the industry. The managers can focus towards adopting a change plan within the organisation considering the key factors as well as potential challenges in the industry[6].
Implementing change within the organisation is an important aspect to be focused upon within the industry. In order to implement the change, it is required that the key external as well as internal factors are being identified and accordingly the strategies are to be developed and further being adopted so that the organisational goals and strategies can ensure to be achieved.
