Murder crime

Murder is criminal behaviour, whereby under common law, it is defined as unlawful and intentional killing, and it is committed with malice aforethought. Malice aforethought does not necessarily mean that acted in hate or spite; however, it exists if the defendant tends to kill someone without legal grounds. It is also defined as intentional killing if the killer intentionally causes bodily harm leading to death or behaves in a way that shows extreme recklessness regarding human life, thus causing death (Jowett, Carpenter and Tait, 2018).

 From sociological literature, it is the society that influences persons to be criminals; the social learning theory states that people learn crime from people around them, and with social conflict theory, class warfare instigates crime (Fox, 2017). From the statistical case studies, we can state that society has influenced crime looking at male being the highest percentage, whereby they influence each other. The case whereby 63% of the cases happen in residential location can be attributed to theoretical perspectives on inequality among social classes.
