Through this course, I have learned on how have a quality presentation thus through the digital medium thus growing in public speaking areas. In digital medium, speaking tactfully and clearly is one of the essential things in quality speaking. Another thing which is important in public speaking is considering the people I am speaking to and find an effective message which will suit them effectively. From this course, it has man y concepts and theories which explains the different ways to earn the speaker credibility. And lastly, the most important thing is having a speech outline as it helps in covering all important things during the speech.

From the public speaking techniques, they can help a lot in applying on jobs which are related to the course. Even though one may not be public speaker, public speaking skills and techniques can be used in leading important meetings by informing the employees on new standard procedures and standards in the IT sector and software’s assisted by different ways of speech. The important concepts include audience analysis and techniques which lead to people listening to the speaker actively.  Through audience analysis, the techniques help in tuning off all physical distractions within the speech.

From the Kyles podcast, it talks about the college success guide for high school seniors. This is a very important topic for the on-going class as it makes has to be active audience during class time or when listening to speeches. The podcast has used a good pathos as it done in an interview format. From the podcast, Kyle has utilized the skills well by assistance from the friend. This podcast as worked very well as its from two people thus there is a voice variation which becomes more entertaining when listening to it.

From the podcast I listened, on my dreams, it discussed about the what the Penelope want to become in future and what’s in their dreams. From the podcast, it was a kind of script reading as the language used was formal and the tone was varied from serious to cheerful. The Penelope connected with audience by sharing how they connected and feelings they had for the animals. From the podcast we learning that Penelope she wants to become a vet so as to teach people on how to care about the exotic animals as they only acre about pets like dogs, and cats.
