The term is divided into different terms that have a different descriptions. The following are some of the terms that can be used in describing the supply chain management system. Supply chain management is the active management of the supply chain activities to maximize the production of goods and strengthen the relationship with the customers. This represents the all process that the supply chain system undergoes to get the final products that will be supplied to the customers.  The system usually covers everything from development, sourcing, logistics as well as researching the information that is needed to coordinate all the processes and make the company come up with the final product that will be supplied to the customers.
