Degree And Quality Of Care (18th Century Vs. 21st Century Us Hospitals)

There is a high variation of degree and quality of care between the 18th and 21st century. Currently (21^st century), there is high advanced medical equipment and diversified knowledge in US, including Telemedicine such as medical imaging and remote patient monitoring. It enhances the high degree and quality of healthcare compared to 18th-century (Bradley et al., 2016).

Additionally, in the 18th century, the degree and quality of healthcare are less improvised compared to 21st-century care due to discoveries of new equipment such as stethoscope between 1781 and 1826 (Marjoua, & Bozic, 2012). Since there were discoveries of such equipment in the United States, their usage was not 100% accurate, leading to poor quality care compared to the 21st century.

Healthcare Delivery System Relative To Spending Per Capita And Ranking Of The Healthcare Outcomes

US, Brazil and China.

The healthcare delivery system relative to the US's spending capita is higher than that in Brazil due to the sustainable government policies. The United States government ensures that every citizen acquires quality healthcare at a relatively lower cost than in Brazil through various methods such as lenient medical tax laws (Schwartz & Woloshin, 2019). Additionally, the ranking of the healthcare outcomes in the United States is also higher than that of China, due to the low American population of 328 million compared to 1.4 billion of China (Skoufalos et al., 2017).  

Healthcare Delivery Spending Per Capita Of The United States In The 21st Century

Generally, the healthcare delivery spending per head (per capita, per individual) in the United States is detrimental to healthcare quality due to the reduced American taxation by the government and low medical bills by the patients. For example, in the United States, adults spend approximatel $ 1920 annually in medical costs on fungal diseases, an amount that leads to the utilization of low-quality healthcare equipment and services (Benedict et al., 2019). Therefore, it is essential to conclude that in the 21st century, healthcare delivery spending per capita is detrimental to the overall quality of healthcare in the United States.
