What is your leadership style, who do you lead?

Leadership is that art of framework that motivates the group of people in order to achieve the common goal of the organisation. The main goal of every leader is to motivate the subordinates and employees to work with unity of teams (Boamah et.al., 2018). Being an aspiring manager in a medical industry, it is my duty to lead all the lower-level subordinates, nurses, practitioners by way of providing direction to work and by way of encouraging them and most importantly clearing their main vision of the goal. This is the reason; I prefer Transformational leadership style when it comes to the need of change and motivating each and every individual to perform their best with all of their efforts in order to contribute towards the desired goals of treating patients with the best services.

Is your leadership effective in a particular situation?

Yes, according to me my transformational leadership style is effective to one of the important situations which is during the cases of emergency in a hospital, where I need to give instructions and direction to my leads and other medical staff to deal with the patient by giving them quality treatment in order to get the best result within a short period of time, i.e., their fast recovery.

Who is your favourite leader and Why?

Professor Kenneth Kwek, a CEO of Singapore General Hospital, is my favourite leader in the whole medical industry of Singapore because of one of the biggest reasons of his exceptional performance during the pandemic of Covid-19. One of the best things about Kenneth is that he always tries to teach their employees and subordinates to deal with their patient with so much kindness, selflessness and more compassion when it comes to caring the patients during the hard times when they are suffering from coronavirus (Mossa et.al., 2021).
