Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy, better recognized as N.R. Narayana Murthy is the co-founder of the Indian multinational technology company, Infosys. He has remained the Chairman, President, Chief Mentor and Chief Executive Officer of the company, thereby looking after most of the business operations of the company and ensuring that the various resources are effectively utilized towards the achievement of the organizational goals and objectives (Jose 2016). Infosys limited is recognized as an Indian multinational technology company specialized in the information technology, outsourcing services and business consulting services. The company was founded in the year 1981 by N.R. Narayana Murthy, Nandan Nilekani, S.D. Shibulal, S. Gopalakrishnan, N.S. Raghavan, K. Dinesh and Ashok Arora (Srivastava and Singh 2016). The organization has been driven towards a process of continuous growth and development with the help of the ideations, skills and expertise of the workforce present within the scope of the company as well as an effective style of entrepreneurship followed (Govindarajan and Trimble 2011). He received his education from the National Institute of Engineering under the University of Mysore and then at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur. Before planning to start the company of Infosys, Narayana Murthy had worked as a chief systems programmer at the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad (Murthy 2010). Narayana Murthy enabled the organization to be able to achieve the global brand identity of being one of the leaders in technological and technical innovation. He has received a Padma Vibhishan in India, Legion d’honneur in France and CBE in Britain. In addition to this, he was also recognized to be the first Indian winner of the Ernst and Young’s World Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Thereby, it may be identified that the purpose of adopting a technology entrepreneurship approach is to be able to promote the development of operational systems through the incorporation of innovation and advancement of the technological resources. This also involves an increased alignment of the utilization of the other resources like the workforce and finances towards the growth of business through technological development.
