Firstly, there are some formatting errors. Pertaining to this it can be rightly underlined that the table of contents must be after the executive summary, however, in this case, the student has given the table of contents before the executive summary. The Introduction section is not complete and there are certain aspects like the research questions, outline, report structure and the related assumptions and limitations which have not been provided. Moreover, the set of recommendations is very brief.

Answer to Question 2

Although the executive summary comprises of the adequate headings, however, a perfect executive summary would be one which tends to provide a brief overview of the aim, the findings and the recommendations. Here, it is critical to note that an entire brief overview of the report is presented which is indeed the characteristic of an abstract and not an executive summary.  The method used by the report need not be elaborated upon.

Answer to Question 3

The study has conducted both primary as well as secondary research. In this context, it has adopted primary research through the medium of a survey from the different employees of the firm whereas secondary data is collected associated with the concepts and theories relating to employee retention.  The primary data was collected using the survey as and in this context, it becomes relevant to underline that the analysis involved both quantitative and qualitative analysis as the data collected via secondary sources was critically assessed using thematic analysis.  Here, the student has portrayed a complete knowledge of survey and other data collection tools.
