Analysis of Tasmania Project Wellbeing Survey

From the project wellbeing survey, it can be observed that covid-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of people in Tasmania to a huge extent. In addition to that, The Tasmania Project emphasizes on collecting data and opinions from range of areas such as food insecurity, creative arts sector among others. It can also be observed from the survey that under importance for wellbeing and concerns for the future, percentage of health stand at 64 and 56 percent respectively. This is followed by life satisfaction (at 42 percentage) and income (at 37 percentage) respectively.

On the other hand, levels of satisfaction for safety (unweighted) are at 92 percentage. This is also reflected in decrease of satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic. I perceive well being is an influenced by fundamentals to the overall health of an individual. My perception of well being is dependent on physical activities and lifestyle behaviour of an individual that can help to retain their overall wellbeing. On the other hand, from the survey I can analyse that the essential component responsible for wellbeing for people in Tasmania is health, life satisfaction, environment, community and income.

My perception from the components responsible for wellbeing is different from that of the survey conducted. Hence, it can be analysed that work-life balance and income apart from health can be considered as the essential components for overall wellbeing of an individual.
