English as a Global Language and its Effects on People

English is considered the global language as it is connected with world knowledge and interconnectedness. The language is the link between the people in global scale. The context of using the language as the global language has different influence on different people. In most of the cases, the non- English- speaking people learn English a tool of communication (Halliday, 2019). This enhances their chance of employment and communication in corporate levels. The people can use English to connect with different cultural people and travel all around the world. Moreover, as opined by Al-Kadi & Ahmed (2018), having a global language like English has increased the global tolerance and open mindedness. People whoa has the bilingual capacities can explore the opportunities of knowing different communities and become more excluded in global perspective. Overall, this can be concluded that, English as a global language has different influence on the individual. People having English as their first language have advantages of the global language more than the one who are learning the language for their professional and educational requirements (Smokotin, Petrova & Gural, 2017). There is no doubt in the fact that, having a global language like English has increased the international communication and reduced the global cultural barriers.
