Strengths – In order to expand across the country, the option is to chose infrastructure as a service. The infrastructure as a service is a cloud service mode, with the help of which the organization will be able to increase or decrease the number of websites listing as per the requirements (Sinaeepourfard et al. 2020). Furthermore, the infrastructure as a service comes with a load balancer, which helps the organization to deal with sudden surge of visitors. Also, with the help of a security integration layer on the database, would help the organization to keep the data and information safe from the hands of hackers and intruders.

Weakness – The weakness of the service provider is that, the initial cost of the infrastructure of the organization would be higher, as the company will be implementing a different network infrastructure. Furthermore, the organization does not have a risk management plan, which is highly essential in order to prevent unwanted impact on the production server of the organization (Ziemba 2019). Along with that, the organization also lacks a cyber security risk management plan, which will help them in protecting the computer network connection from the hands of the hackers and intruders.

External Factors

The opportunities which are available for the organization is that, they will be able to expand their consumer and customer base, after expanding their business organization to the other parts of the country (Ziemba 2017). As the organization already have a good brand equity it will help them gather new real estate agents who will post their listings on their website. Along with that, as the new information technology software application, and network infrastructure is being installed, thus with a sudden surge of customers and consumer, the website would not crash down, and make the customers face any kind of issue. The threats which will possess a great impact on the organization, are the hackers and intruders. Being a leading website organization in real estate business, their competitors will try to subdue their operation in one way or another (Sinaeepourfard, Krogstie and Sengupta 2020). In order to tackle this kind of situation, the organization will need to introduce information security policies within the organization. Furthermore, they also have the opportunity to update their existing mobile application. They should also need to introduce or develop another mobile application for the customer and consumer, who can view the new real estate listings from their mobile device and then contact the agent from the mobile itself.

ICT Strategic Themes

The main strategic theme is to migrate the existing network architecture of the organization to cloud services. Within the cloud services, we will be using Infrastructure as a Service cloud architecture. As the real estate listings depends on the popularity of locations, due to which, there is an uncertainty of when a real estate listing will be uploaded and, after it has been uploaded the customers and consumer will soon visit the website or the mobile application in order to book the listing (Halttunen 2017). Due to the uncertainty of sudden surge of network traffic, we will be using the infrastructure as a service, as it contains a load balancer. Along with that, we will also integrate a security layer on the database and server, to protect the data and information from the hands of hackers and intruders. The IT skills which will be required in order achieve these strategies are keen knowledge on cloud services and cloud security. Along with that, we would require employees and individuals who have a vast knowledge on database management and mobile applications.
