Research Project

I have been interested in this particular research project of sustainable timber harvesting or logging in the Sub Saharan Africa as sustainability is needed to be enhanced and it would ensure that maximum efficiency is gained, without any error (1). I have known that sustainable harvesting would ensure that forest fuel is extremely effective and it would help in reducing fossil fuel emissions and as a result, sustainable development goals are fulfilled successfully. It is needed to secure, reestablish and encourage sustainable utilization of terrestrial ecosystem and combat desertification as well as proper management of forests. Hence, it would be quite easier to maintain sustainable development and also rely on the future of timber harvesting for generation of economic value.

I have also known that the research project of sustainable timber harvesting in the Sub Saharan African as well as South Asian countries would be responsible for coordinating amongst the development partners or bilateral and multilateral. A sustainable protection as well as development for the wood fuels and charcoal’s industry is possible for serving the domestic or export markets and the plantation management has supported a distinct variety of the timber goods for wood fuels, with poles for constructions as well as electricity transmissions line or furniture (2). Different policy measurements are needed to be implemented for preventing future and also mitigating past damages from the mining investments.

I even have shown major interests in the research project as major incentives and reformations within the domestic timber industry are observed for reduction of waste and supporting legal timber operators in the Sub Saharan African countries. There can an improvised forest sales’ management for the heavily forested cities and development of the decreased emission from deforestations and forest’s degradation program as well as carbon finances would be needed for helping these countries in capturing potential revenue from this carbon storage value of timber forest and also promoting advantages with the communities via landscape restorations and reforestation project (3).

I have researched about timber harvesting and sustainability in the South Asian and Sub Saharan African countries for ensuring that I gain maximum knowledge and get access to the information for such production of timber, so that the respective requirements of the research project are fulfilled and any kind of gap or limitation in the project work is eradicated successfully. Sustainable harvesting practices are being taken into consideration to ensure that healthy trees are grown and the forest is effective. I have even researched about the present condition of the timber business and quality of the site is analyzed (4). The major causes of damage are being identified and a long termed growth and development of the timber forest is considered. I have even past experience of such issues in the Sub Saharan African countries, when I visited the timber business in Ethiopia. I have observed that the government officials are working effectively and the economic value of the ecosystem services has been increased for better efficiency and significance. This has even doubled the GDP of the country and success is prevailed.
