It says how the Asian was used in a number of scenes within the movie for the purpose of laughter and comic relief. The Asians are the only one’s who are shown to be illegal immigrants sitting on the sidewalk. The redeemers in the movie are always the Asians and the irony in the entire situation is that while they are the vehicle that take people to redemption, they themselves are never redeemed.

He has also been a visiting professor at the Edward R. Meyer. He holds a PhD in English and specializes in Writing and Rhetoric. He reflects on the movie through the lens of stereotype. He talks about the way the movie is dipped in stereotypes and it never breaks free from it. The author makes use of his knowledge with respect to Hollywood and their way of presenting the Asian men and the black skinned people. He takes a neutral position and gives the readers a deep understanding of the movie.

The author takes a very interesting take on the movie and the article presented by him is also written in a way that might seem light-hearted analysis of the movie. While the article is written in a manner different from other critical writings, it might still be difficult for a high school senior. The students might never be able to understand why the author calls the film racist indirectly and why is it important to talk about it in the first place. The author focuses on how the movie is replete with racism and completely adheres to the stereotypes constructed by white people with respect to Asians like the Black men never tip, “Black men don’t tip”.

He also talks about the way viewers are hooked to the problems in the lives of character which is why they miss out on racism unless looked deeply. The article shows how the children are used to draw some reaction from the viewers. The article shows how black people are categorized under one head and the whites under another. He says how the connections in the movie cannot be trusted because of too many coincidences. The characters in the movie are not flat but provide enough details about themselves. Racism is also represented through language within the movie. For instance, the Cantonese accent heard from the Korean looking characters, “You blake too fast”. The author thus provides evidence of how the movie has various instances of racism.

Robert Jensen provides a review of the movie while talking about the way White men are given a centre stage in the movie. Robert Jensen is a professor at the University of Texas. He is among the board members of the Third Coast Activist Resource Centre.  Most of his works reflect on representation of different and the way racism is carried out and this article is no exception in that case. This article is extremely complicated and difficult to be interpreted at once. The school students no matter how good or bad they are in studies will not be able to understand this article truly.

The opinions presented in the article might be uncomfortable for the them and they can find it difficult to understand why all the irrespective of their race is said to be prejudiced. As for the college students it might also pose difficulty. This article has opinions from different stand points and the way each group, white and not white, responds to the movie is in a way rooted in their culture and believes. For the white individuals, they might feel that the White skinned are represented under some kind of negative light but that might not be the observation for a black person. The movie actually underrepresents the black people but this will not be accepted by them. The same way the readers opinion on this article will vary on the basis of their believes and culture.

The article focuses on how the White men are again represented as the saviour as their flaws and racial believes are given a clean chit while the believes and opinions of the black people are used for comic relief. The actions of the white person in the movie are provided sentimental justification which makes them correct while the same cannot be said for black people. This article by the author shows how the black people are prejudiced as the two black women are used to reveal the and the white people are given a sophisticated position mostly. This article does not leave out on any aspect starting from character of Anthony in the movie to the scenes and even the audience response to some extent. It also talks about the position of women in the movie who indeed seem very off guard when it comes to the men.
